New decks-

Ah, you're looking to expand your dining room, family, or living room outdoors?

This starts with an appointment at your home to take measurements; find out what you have in mind. From there we will discuss materials.

Dandy Decks has found a supplier whose materials are always top of the line. “#2 Southern Pine”. It's the straightest, prettiest, and surprisingly reasonable lumber you're gonna find in the area. We know which suppliers to avoid too.

The surfaces are the fun part. Picking out the Trex™ composite, or deciding if the white railing or the black railing is going to match the style of your home.

If you’re going with natural wood, we have a nice 1-1/2 inch deck board with round edges. This decking is always very straight and retains its integrity due to the thickness. It’s far better than any decking you’ll find at a chain store.

The best part is we have a proprietary pricing system allowing us to hand you a quote for your new deck the very same day.  From there, it’s just a matter of getting on our schedule, and watch us transform your outdoor space into something elevated and enjoyable!

Permits-

The best part about adding a deck is coordinating inspections and permits with your city.

Most homeowners absolutely love this part, but don’t worry, we will coordinate the whole thing. From getting plans approved, scheduling the inspections, we’ve got it covered.

Re-skinning-

After many years of use, sometimes a deck needs to be repaired. Often times this happens in the soggier areas here in Minnesota. If a deck surface doesn't get alot of sun, it can spend prolonged periods of time with more moisture than it wants. This typically manifests in rotting around nails. Soft spots may soon start to appear, and within a few years, it will be time for a new surface.

The joists supporting the surface often remain in great shape, which gives us an opportunity to come in and remove that previous surface, and railings and get something new.

Maybe Composite? Maybe red-stained, thicker dimensional lumber.

Either way, getting a new surface for your family to enjoy will bring a bit of excitement to your home.

The most common “reskin” we come across, begins with us removing old wood railings and rotting surfaces, and replacing them with zero maintenance Trex composite decking. With black, or white aluminum rails.
